P3000 Installation requirements

Installation

The roaster dimensions are H 807 x W 445 x D 907 mm.

The roaster is approx 80kg in weight, and needs to be placed on a table/trolley or other stable surface that can support that weight. The chaff collection is at the rear and hangs below the roaster, so the roaster needs to be positioned at the rear edge of the table to allow room for the chaff collection behind the roaster, with at least 50cm of space around the table for access and ventilation.

Power supply

By default, the machines are configured for a 16A 3-phase (380V) supply. You can connect the roaster using a 5-pin C-form (commando) plug, or have an electrician connect the machine via a rotary isolator. If your electricity supply is different to this, contact us before finalizing your order.

Ventilation

The P3000 has two 100mm outlets, one for the bean cooler and one for the drum exhaust. For optimum performance and consistency, it is best to connect these outlets to separate ducts.

Max airflow from the drum exhaust in normal use is 130m3/h (77 CFM). Max airflow from the cooling tray in normal use is 380m3/h (224 CFM).

Positive pressure ducting is required for both outlets. Drum exhaust ducting should be rated for 260C, and may need to be double-walled - check with your local authority for the requirements for ducting in your premises. The bean cooler ducting should be rated for up to 150C.

We are currently working on a product manual and additional information for installation, everyday use, and maintenance. We will share more with you as it becomes available.
